G6 Run & Mount (two riders one horse/pony)

G9 Most Talented (does your equine have a secret skill or trick?)
Competitors enter a block of 5 games and will be given tokens to gain admission to the classes of their choice. This will prevent classes being missed due to class clashes.
Rules
A beginner is to be 10 years or under on 1st January, just coming off lead rein or in their first year off lead rein. A rider may not compete as a beginner for more than 2 years. Grass reins are permitted in beginners class.
Whips must not exceed 30ins
Judge's decision is final in ALL cases
G3 - G6 riders must canter when music is playing or be eliminated
G6 - dismounting rider must not let horse/pony go until partner is mounted
G7 - riders must follow on in canter unless instructed otherwise
G8 - riders must turn a complete circle if trot breaks or be eliminated
G9 - in the opinion of the judge on the day
Loose horses will be eliminated
Minimus Ring
If demand is heavy, priority will be given as follows:
09:00am - Cradle riders only
10:00am - Novice Ponies
10:30am - Open to all
Rules
The minimus ring may at times be used for special events - please check availability on the dayEntries are made at the ring. Cost £1:00 per round, £2:00 with rosette
All riders must register with the ring steward and may not enter the ring until given permission to do so.
Fence heights may be changed by riders before jumping.
All knocked down poles must be replaced before leaving the ring
