A caller is permitted to read all tests while you are riding.

*Beginners' walk, trot test - have a go off the lead rein.
Class 44
Pairs test: Prelim 17 (2002).
*This is for people who have ridden in one or other of the previous Class 43s ON THE LEAD REIN. Can have helper.
Dressage Rules
British Dressage rules will be used as a guideline but the judges decision is final.Rider's dress to be black, navy or tweed jacket; white, cream or beige jodhpurs; light coloured gloves; black or tan boots (seniors must wear long boots or equivalent); shirt, tie or stock; whips up to 36" for the dressage and 30" for the jumping.
Horse equipment to be snaffle bridle for dressage and any for the jumping; drop, cavesson or flash noseband; no martingales in the dressage; no artificial training aids for warm up; white, black or brown saddle cloth only; no boots, bandages or bit guards to be worn in the dressage arena.
When saluting, Competitors must take the reins and whip, if carried, in the left hand. The right hand should be lowered to the rider's side and the rider should nod the head.
Competitors must report to the steward 20 minutes before their test time and be ready to compete at the correct time. Failure to do so will result in elimination.
Jumping is optional. If jumping, it must be completed within 30 minutes of the dressage test. Failure to do so will result in elimination.
