Championship Points


Championship points are awarded to members placed in showing, show jumping, working hunter, cross country, dressage/combined training and games classes as follows:

  • 1st  place 6 points
  • 2nd place 5 points
  • 3rd place 4 points
  • 4th place 3 points
  • 5th place 2 points
  • 6th place 1 points
1. Points are awarded for the actual placing and not for members placing. For example, a member who is placed 3rd will be awarded 4 points whether or not other members are placed higher.

2. A Class Championship Trophy is awarded to the member scoring the most points in each class.

3. A keepsake trophy will also be awarded for the members finishing 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each class.

4. A Discipline Championship Trophy will be awarded to the member scoring the most points in each discipline.

5. An Overall Club Championship Trophy will be awarded to the member scoring the highest total points from all competitive classes.

6. Trophies will be awarded at the annual AGM and presentation evening.

7. All perpetual trophies are to be engraved and returned by the member in good condition by the end of September the following year.
