Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Sutton Bonington Riding Club, Sutton Bonington, Nottinghamshire.  Sutton Bonington is a small village on the border of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire not far from Loughborough.  We have a show field in the village (map here) and there is plenty of room for parking trailers and boxes.   Unless otherwise stated all events are for members only but you can join at any event.   Spectators welcome.

We aim to be the riding club of choice for members who wish to learn, have fun, socialise and generally enjoy their horses.

Save Queuing for Entries
At the start of a show day, we invariably get a rush of applicants and a queue to submit entries. We try to manage all entries in time for people to reach their class promptly but it would help us if you allowed plenty of time when submitting entries.  To save queueing, you can submit your entries by post.  Printable forms are available with the rules and dates here
Class Clashes
Sometimes we get class clashes.  As the number of entrants varies widely from day to day and from class to class, we cannot guarantee there won't be clashes where you are taking part in a class at the same time you should be in another class.  If you are in any doubt, go to see the stewards of both classes, as soon as you become aware of the problem, to warn them you might be late and why.

Help Required

We are urgently seeking helpers for shows; if you can help, please email Christine Pasquire or phone 01509 674003.  More information on the work done by committee members can be seen here.
